Method
Mix the Cheese
- You'll need a scoop of cream cheese, goat cheese, and cheddar cheese in a bowl.
- Keep it plain or add your favorite seasonings (chili flakes, garlic & herbs, black pepper - anything goes).
- Prep the Jalapeños
- Slice each pepper lengthwise
- Keep the stems for presentation
- Remove seeds (or leave a few for extra heat)
- Fill each pepper with the cheese mix
- Freeze it for 30 min or more (optional but recommended)
- Wrap each stuffed jalapeño with a chicken strip, making sure the seam is tucked underneath
- Bake the Poppers
- Place on a parchment-lined tray
- Bake at 345°F for 15 mins, then broil for 2 mins for crispiness
- Let cool before enjoying
