Method
- Heat a deep pot over the stove-top. Add ground meat and break it into small pieces as it cooks (about 10 minutes).
- When the meat browns, add the kidney beans and onions.
- Combine the Catelli garden select sauce plus equal amount of water. Add the store-bought chili seasoning and stir well.
- Reduce the heat to medium, cook for 10 minutes without the lid, then cover and continue to cook for 15 minutes, then bring to a boil.
- Add cheese at the end if desired before removing off the stove.
