Gotu Kola Sambal Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • ½ bunch gotu kola finely sliced
  • 1 medium red onions chopped
  • 3 Thai green chilies chopped
  • cup grated coconut fresh or frozen
  • 1 tsp salt or to taste
  • ½ fresh lime juice
  • 1 tbsp Maldives fish optional

Method
 

  1. Soak gotu kola leaves in lukewarm saltwater for 5 minutes to remove dirt and bacteria. Rinse well.
  2. Finely slice the gotu kola, onions, and green chili.
  3. Combine the sliced ingredients with coconut and maldives fish (if using) in a bowl. Add in the lime juice and salt to balance the taste.
