Easy Pancakes 🥞 | Quick Recipe To Make Fluffy and Soft Pancakes

Here is a quick and easy homemade recipe to make delicious fluffy pancakes. One of the sweetest way to start any day.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 & 1/2 tbsp Baking powder
  • 1/3 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup 2% Milk warm but not boiled
  • 3 tbsp Butter unsalted, at room temperature
  • 1 large Egg at room temperature
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. First sift the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking powder, salt) together and set them aside.

  2. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs first, add the butter, milk and vanilla to the egg and beat again.

  3. Next, add the dry ingredients gradually into the wet ingredients. With a spatula, gently fold in the ingredients until it becomes a batter.

  4. Heat the pan, skillet or griddle (375'F) of your choice over medium-high heat. When it is warm (to check, sprinkle water to hear it sizzle) spray or brush with cooking oil or butter.

  5. Note - If pancakes are cooking faster for you to keep up, lower the heat to medium.

  6. Next, add a scoop of pancake batter and wait for it to settle into a circular shape. It will soon start to fluff and form air bubble pockets. 

  7. Check on the bottom carefully, when bubbles start to pop, to see if it has turned to a light golden brown. If so, flip the pancake to cook the other side.

  8. Take 1-2 min cook time on both sides and when done take the pancakes off the heat.

  9. Note - If pancakes are too thick, you can thin it by adding little milk at a time to the pancake batter and mix until you get the right consistency to cook thinner pancakes.
